Shannon Elizabeth: A Jeans & T-Shirt Kinda Girl

Shannon loves comfort clothes!Shannon loves comfort clothes!Fashion Daily Wire (NY)- Looking at Shannon Elizabeth, the leggy brunette that has played the bombshell exchange student Nadia in both slices of "America Pie," you'd think she would be a clotheshorse, the kind of woman who spends loads of time shopping at exclusive boutiques. Plus, the Texas native started her career as a high-fashion model, her slightly exotic looks (her ancestry is a winning mix of Syrian and American Indian blood) making her a natural for runway work and magazine spreads.

But that impression would be completely wrong.

"I'm not into clothes," laughs Elizabeth, who actually has two hit comedies ( "American Pie 2" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back") in theaters right now. "I'm so a jeans-and-T-shirt person. I'm horrible at like putting clothes together and dressing myself. Like, if they say that I have to dress a certain way, I'm horrible at it. I'm just a casual girl."

And while Shannon Elizabeth may be extremely casual in her dress, she is anything but that when it comes to her burgeoning acting career. The 27-year-old actress is barely taking the time to breathe between films, despite the fact that she is engaged to fellow actor Joseph Reitman (the pair starred together earlier this year in "Tomcats") and is planning a Spring 2002 wedding.

She's already had three films released in 2001, and that's not the end of it. She'll be seen next in theaters this Halloween starring with Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham in "13 Ghosts," the new effects-filled horror flick produced by Hollywood heavyweight Robert Zemeckis.

"That was a serious role, in a serious movie," Elizabeth says earnestly. "It's more than just a terror movie, and I'm excited about it."

But does that mean she'll have to wear serious clothes to the premiere?

"Oh, I hope not!" she laughs.
